Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who reached the national Capital Thursday, will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to discuss multiple issues, including MGNREGA and GST dues for her state. Later in the day, she is also scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu.
Mamata’s visit comes at a time when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been probing Partha Chatterjee, who was removed from all party posts last week following the recovery of a huge amount of cash and gold at his close aide Arpita Mukherjee’s flats, over the alleged teacher’s recruitment scam.
